Support us with your 5×1000

The 5×1000 is an Italian income-tax mechanism — it applies only if you pay income tax in Italy.

This year Musica del Vivo — Associazione Culturale Giovanile is on the list of organisations entitled to receive the 5×1000 of Italian income tax (IRPEF). You can allocate to us a small share of the taxes you already pay — at no extra cost.

What is the 5×1000?

When you file your tax return, the State lets you allocate 5 per thousand (5×1000) of your income tax to an association or organisation of your choice. It is not an extra donation: it is a share that would otherwise go generically to the State. Choosing to give it to us costs you nothing.

How to do it: a 3-step guide

The 5×1000 is indicated on the 730 form or the Redditi PF form (formerly "Unico"). Both have a dedicated 5×1000 box.

1. Find the right box. Look for the section headed "Sostegno del volontariato, delle ONLUS, delle associazioni di promozione sociale e delle fondazioni" (usually the first column of the 5×1000 box).
2. Sign in the space provided. Add your signature in that section's box. The signature is mandatory — without it, your choice is not recorded.
3. Write our tax code. In the field next to your signature, enter the tax code 96555270584.

If a tax-assistance centre (CAF) or accountant files your return

No problem, this is the most common case. Just tell your adviser that you want to give your 5×1000 to Musica del Vivo, tax code 96555270584.

If you don't file a tax return

You can still take part: complete and submit the pre-filled 730 form on the Italian Revenue Agency website, or hand the dedicated slip in a sealed envelope to a CAF (free of charge), within the legal deadlines.
